Well, I supply where I rent from. I like to be 100% tenant. I provide all of my product and equipment and my rent covers the space and use of the debit machine. The salon owner and I pair up for certain advertising projects.
If you do decide to rent your space, my advice is to do as much homework about the laws that pertain to this, in your area. Too many people that I've known in the industry have not bothered to look into how things are supposed to be, and they've gotten their butts burned as either tenants or landlords. Most of the time it was honest mistakes or ignorance.
