At the Javit's Center in NY IBS: a 20x20 booth can cost $10,000.00. Basic set up 1 table 2 chairs,1 waste basket and standard carpet: $585.00 (Package deal). Need an extra draped table $206-$229. depending upon table length. Need an extra chair that's 125.00 per chair, Want to up grade to carpet that will be $236,00 Need an additional waste basket that will be $26.55 Lets not forget the Labor Costs.....you cant just show up and start constructing...there are rules, it you have a booth larger than 10x10 you have to pay the union guys. These rates are per person/per hour. M-F 8am-4:30PM $204.48 Overtime 4:30PM-8AM $265.82 Double Time:(Sundays-Holidays)$332.28. Have a sign you need that needs to be hung high? They have a crew for that too for the bargain price of $658.00.
I couldn't find the costs for electrical and phone service...but based on the other prices I'm sure it isn't cheap Now add your hotel costs, flights, shipping hauling..... It is mind boggling!
