IBS NY is the most outrageous cost. I think we paid over $800 one year just to have them bring a crate from the dock to the booth and back to the dock. That was not including the cost to ship it there or any of the other costs that Alice has mentioned. That's why you don't see as many large displays. You will also see large product mfgrs with less booth space at NY.
I know trade shows are in our future now that we are getting Too Much Fun back up and running but I will have to pick and choose carefully. It takes a lot of business to make up the cost of doing trade shows. Not many of the small mfgrs can afford them. It's too bad because I know the techs want all of us there but it just isn't possible for many with the costs.
