Michelle,
Yes there is a base, a top and also an optional strengthening gel
( this is the only one in a pot)
It is also a soak off ( all the gelish is)
I can't wait for the LED light so I can do this service twice as fast
( and even faster in I only have to do one coat of color)
One note about the LED light though... this product is formulated
especially to work with the LED light
if you try to use other gels with the LED light it will..."fry" them
( for lack of a better word...you know, they would become overcured
and very brittle)
I will let you know more when I do actual testings. I have two past
natural nail clients contact me about it on FB
Not sure when I will get the first TESTERS in but when I do I will let
you know.
So far though I am super impressed :)

Is there a base and top gel too? I love trying new things but they
wouldn't send me a sample and I don't like spending money on unknown
quality products.

o.k. so I got my shipment yesturday of Gelish.
The Gelish is not like the pot gel, is is more fluid... more like
polish.
I'm quite sure that if I took the bottle to tip it over it would
actually pour completely out, given just a little time.
So you most likely CAN get every single drop out.
Also, what surprised me what that I was able to get the solid
color in
one coat, I was totally not expecting that.
I talked to one of the distributors and they are already working on
another 24 colors.
So just wanted to give my first hand observations. I am going to
put
some on myself tonight
I don't have any natural nail clients right now so I'm going to have
to go get me some :)
I am also very excited to try LE's soak off base that I can use with
traditional gel polishes to make it an SO gel... woo hoo !
