Subject: NailTech:: Spatulas

I get the plastic spatula's from "My Girl" at the Mac Counter.  She also hooks
me up with tiny brushes for nail art.

Sorry for such a late response.  I finanally had my knee replacement and
haven't been on the much, therapy takes up alot of time.  But, I am doing great
now.  I am walking without anything (so I don't feel like a real grandma now).
My surgery was 1/27/10 and I had my 1 month check up yeasterday and all is well
the implant looks great and we are pleased.  So, it looks like i will be aleast
walking in the Komen race this year Thats my goal.  I have also lost 40
pounds starting in November.  I just got tired of being overweight and took
control of my intake.

JJ update.  He has a tumor under his left armpit bigger than a quarter and
rubbery feeling.  St. Jude Children's Hospital has done an ultrascan of it and
taken measurements and will do the same this month.  We don't know anymore than
that.  The blood tests came back higher for the liver and bone cancer. They
will check those again this month.  At this point it is all a waiting
game.  Don't ask me I don't know.  He has had laser sugery on his airway to
remove scar tissue and prepare him to have it removed hopefully this
spring/summer.  Otherwise he is your typical 2 1/2 year old little boy who
adores his g-paw and motorcycles.

Just a thought here, tooth picks are WAY thin and perhaps do not pick up the
pigment to mix it from the bottom of the pot...depending on my mood and
organization during the day, I have a stainless steel dental spatula that
dental assitants use too mix cements and dental goo...that works wonders ( I
have the Axxiuum, but don use it often) OR if I can not find my head from a
hole in the groud on a particular day, I use plastic cosmetic spatulas with a
short handle...both of these scrape the bottom of the pots and I use a folding
motion, thus mixing the pigment throroughly-slowly or they bubble too!...FYI
from a newbie...Luck and love with the mixing and pigment challenge!
