You're welcome, Roxanne! I only have the french colors that I got in my free kit. I want to order the colors, but I am holding out to see Gelish or Shellac first. I don't know which to get. I have not tried to soak it off though. Have you? It is advertised to soak off in 5 minutes but I am not sure whether that is with acetone or with the soak off solution that Star sells.(?) Yes, the shine is very nice. It would be up to you and the client whether you would want to use the topcoat. I personally don't think it is needed. JMHO Lisa
