I have two coming in later. I think it is no longer than ten minutes. At first it was longer because I was afraid. NO more!! I use an OLD car bide bit that has been worn down from acrylic. It works great to remove the SO. If it took me longer than ten minutes, then soaking off would be the way to go. I have no time for my clients dilly-dallying with this. LOL. I do not want to stop doing the first client to put the cotton and wrap on. NO time to do that. I have tried to explain how to do it at home but they do not listen. One said she did not put the tin foil on because it was too much work. Geezus--no wonder the product did not come off!!!! LOL. Sitting here waiting for a client I td to be here at ten of because she is always late. It is almost ten after and still not here. Sheesh!!! I have only filed off once and it took me forever. I was taking my time though because I was afraid of filing into the natural nail. I will try it again this evening. Hope it goes quicker. It took me two hours to do this manicure with filing the old off. I used a sanding band. What kind of bit are you using? Not to just regular techs anyway! I LaShaun showed Kira and me how it works when we were in Chicago. It was very easy. It felt very similar to the other SO gels once applied. I am not really sure how much different it is from the others chemically but the visuals are what will sell this to the clients. (Same with Gelish) Since clients are ignorant to all our ways and means of things, for them to just SEE a polish bottle product is a positive selling point. What turned me off was the soak off wrap product. They are $3 per 10. I will not be able to raise my prices to make it worth my while for this system. IF you are light handed with an e-file, ther is NO way you can damage the natural nails. I am doing this every day and have yet to hurt a clients' nails. I do not have the luxury of having the clients come in earlier to soak off due to other services I provide. You can see my photos on Facebook and see that I am not damaging the nails. Just my dos pesetos here! I can't get it until May. I want to know if it really soaks off in 10 minutes. I really don't like filing off gel polish, I think it defeats the purpose. I don't want to trash peoples natural nails. I use Akzentz now, but it takes to long to soak, so I end up buffing off. Can you get Shellac from CND on line? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
