Kimberly,
Reminds me of this time Pat and I were at the mall. He has to run in the mens
room. I waited outside the chop shop and watched what they were doing.
The one "tech" took the files she just used, tapped them sideways on the table
(loosening the filings?) and put them in that UV sterilizer.
I have more women who come here from chop shops and think that IS sterilizing.
While at it, most people think putting implements and files in boxes with their
name on it is safe for them. I tell them that germs and bacteria do not know to
stay in your box so please, another false sense of security. Especially when I
hear doctors telling everyone that this is kosher.
Buenos dias,
Lynnette

Subject: NailTech:: Uv cabinets & Dr. OZ

Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Pulling my hair out!!!
Ummm... Excuse me Dr OZ... In any salon, A uv cabinet is meant to
store already disinfected or sterilized (autoclave) implements. It
doesn't clean, disinfect or sterilize anything !!! I'm so tired of
all this incorrect information !!! If you put a dirty implement in
this cabinet and turn on the magic light and leave it for a year you
will still have a dirty implement when you take it out.
This is one of a million things in this industry that need to be
clarified and Dr. OZ needs to REALLY check his facts before airing
this stupidity. Please Dr OZ your staff at the very least needs to
contact Doug Schoon !!!

~Kimberly~
