Thanks Pati and Holly! I'll be thinking about my prices today. Got to get this
figured out.
Basically everyone is charging the same for sog manicures and refills, right?
Then adding a few dollars to the refill if they want gel polish? How much?
Add $10 to the price of pedi if they want sog?
If they don't want the full pedi but want to change their sog on toes then
charge the same for sog manicure?
I hate trying to make up price list and figure out how to word these things so
they make sense!

I don't know...now don't y'all jump down my throat BUT... that's a little much
to charge for basically a"change of polish" ...JMHO.  She's not going to do any
callous work ... just trim the toenails and apply polish (SOG)... that is not a
basic pedicure.  If she has a price for a change of polish... I would agree
that she should add 10.00 on to that.  NOW if she has a clientele that has a
lot of money and they don't care how they spend it..hey go for it...

BTW.. I LOVE the Shellac on my toes (and hands) ..makes them look so shiny and
nice!  I am able to wear sandals a little now so one more step to feeling
"normal"....

You still end up doing a basic pedicure, do you have a price for that? If not
with the pricing you have maybe do $23-25 for an "express" pedi which is
sanitizing, shaping, cuticle work, and polish. Then add your $10 on to that. I
hate to see you go that low though, have you raised your prices lately? 3.7% is
the cost of living increase you deserve annually ;o) october is an ideal time
of
year for an increase so all of you could be planning a course of action!!

Subject: NailTech:: SOG on toes

I haven't done sog on toes yet. I am thinking of charging $10 extra for the
pedicure. That is what I have been doing for the manicure. Then a client ask me
what would I charge if they didn't get a pedicure. I haven't thought that one
out yet. You still have to take care of the toenails. I charge $30 for my
pedicures now and I am going to charge $40 with gel polish. Do you think $30
would be right if they didn't want the full pedicure? The things they would not
get is the foot soak, scrub, callus treatment and massage. I charge $18 for a
manicure and $28 for a sog manicure. Thanks for any advice. I have a client
wanting this with her pedicure on Tuesday so I need to have my prices figured
out.
