Meryl,
Gelatin does not make the nails grow. The nails are made of keratin, not
gelatin.
This old wives tale has been around for forever. I remember the mother person
taking them back in the '60's!!
Calcium will not work either!!
Buenos dias,
Lynnette

I've used Tammy Taylor Thymolize for yrs but, found that it dried out the nails
too much. I switched to Formula 3 which is a brush on oil that works and
hydrates the nails with no smell. But, the price just doubled on that from
Nailco. You can simply retail %100 Tea Tree Oil which is a natural antifungal
as well. Any of these treatments can take from 6 months to a yr to work. So,
you can also retail Gelatin Capsules which will help their nails grow out
faster. I have heard about Vicks too, but again I find most of the time its
not strong enough. Lamisil is really the best although not the best for you.
Thus, taking the Gelatin helps you not be on the meds that long.
Hoped this helped you...
Meryl
