I got my inspiration watching shoe shine guys....their clients sit above them and the foot hangs down into their work zone....and is comfortable for both. So I measured how high I wanted my clients to be and built a simple wooden frame platform to put a chair on.
As a client, I never enjoyed pedis where my legs were sticking straight forward with no support under my knees. As a tech, I don't like bending over trying to polish toes that are pointing up to the ceiling....so my platform works for me and my clients.
