I used the french manicure on my daughter and it lasted at least 2 weeks then she picked it off and didn't wait for me to soak it off. It has been awhile and I don't remember if I used primer or not. Are you buffing the shine off the nail first? I think I read somewhere that you have to apply the base very thin. There are so many different products going on that I get confused but one of them said thin as a fourth of a piece of paper. Lorraine is that Eco? Angie Wingerter

If you want to have her last more than 2 weeks you can use a primer. Dehydrating is a cleansing step, and would not be considered a primer.
