It does take longer if you use acetone verses their soak off solution. I love Eco and my clients are loving it. So easy!! Terri From: Kelley Marie <[email protected]> To: NailTech <[email protected]> Sent: Tue, July 13, 2010 7:14:03 AM Subject: NailTech:: gel in general I guess I am confused, I put on gelousy one step , thought it was a sog. I have 2 new systems eco and gelousy and tried the gelousy first. I tried to soak it of last night... I guess it isnt a sog? I used one step then dark velvet and a coat of one step. filed them down to the point where I saw red dust so i figured I had removed most of the top. it took me 2 hrs ( one hand at a time) to remove them and then ended up scraping the p**p out of my natural nail plate with my cuticle pusher to finally get it off. Now I use straight acetone from the HARDWARE STORE I don't buy anything else. So I know it isn't watered down stuff from sallys or kmart! So now my nail plate is all rough and I am worried if I put on eco will I have a hard time getting it off? Right now I am in a play/practice mode with these new things in my nail room. I am sure once I feel confidante that I can apply these gels in pots evenly I will pick a color and it wont matter if it comes off or not but I am also not into ruining my natural nails for all this practice. any suggestions?
