I am hoping that Holly will weigh in on this one. Will shellac still bond
if we oil the nail bed during the prep stage?

Vickie-
It seems that some clients are prone to this dryness.
I have oiled clients and applied the sog and the product stayed on just
fine.
I have a client that this happened to when she soaked them. I file off the
product in the salon....have no time to soak.
You may need to have them oil a few times s day and then give them an oil
treatment before applying the shellac.
Just a suggestion.

Hello Ladies,

I am wondering if any one else has had the clients natural nail develop
any white spots of dryness after Shellac removal?
I have about 19 women I have started on Shellac over the last 6 weeks.
About 6 of them have returned after their second Shellac applications with
white spots of dryness on their natural nails. The spots now can be seen
thru their french manicure color application. I am following the proper
application procedure, as far as prep, app. and finish. One lady wore her
french for almost 4 weeks with out any damage to her free edges. She is one
with
white spots. They definately were not there at the start of Shellac
application.
I don't even want to conjecture here but I am interested if any one else
has noticed this happening. Or if Holly has an opinion I am interested.
