I agree you can't tell from a phone conversation, so I recommend they book a manicure with me to evaluate their nail needs and give them my professional opinion. So it's half an hour, and I'll do a buff and polish while talking to them. (Or a buff and reseal with a UV seal coat.) They get value for the money...and I get a chance to win their buisiness.

Just charge accordingly and stand by your prices. Thanks guys. I don't want to even do a fill on these nails. What do you all say to people that want to get a fill and it is not your nails? I would not have a problem with it if it was a good product on their nails but you won't know until they come in. I am not interested in soaking off that stuff either. I think I will tell them they will have to stop by and let me look at their nails first. Angie Wingerter ________________________________ From: Holly L. I use a more current liquid that is chemically advanced, primer less, and designed to be thinner and stronger. If pricing is an issue they bring up then I add: My pricing is a reflection of the level of quality products and service I offer as a result of my extensive training and ongoing education. Does Creative still make Solar? I hate this part of the business. Having to explain and justify my prices. It's just exhausting. When people make appointments and don't ask prices it makes me nervous because I am sure they are not expecting mine. I need to figure out a tackfull way of letting them know that I am not a discount fast service salon without putting the discount salons down. I am sure that most of them use MMA but I don't know that for a fact. I don't know anything about them. We are all trying to make a living and I don't want to bad mouth other salons. Any advice would be so helpful! <http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/tsmileys2/05.gif> Angie Wingerter ---------------- From: kelley smith <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sat, July 24, 2010 3:59:06 PM Subject: Re: NailTech:: Solar nails The nss tell people they r solar nails.
