Just my opinion of course, but no product is going to be perfect for everyone
on the planet, it's illogical ;o) that being said, my MIL is my most difficult
Shellac client. For example she was removing the varnish off kitchen drawers
and cabinets this week with holey gloves. If it removes varnish, guess what
else it damages? She has thin, flimsy, peeling, splitting nails. She is also a
farmer. The Shellac tends to only hold up for 7 days on her, but for what her
nails are and what she does, that 7 days is a miracle and she is tickled!! So
if it is fab on 20 and you have issues on 1 or 2, same with an enhancement
service, time to start wondering what it is that the client does not you. Have
confidence in what you did and if they are happy with that week, then let them
be happy :o)

Subject: Re: NailTech:: chipping and shellac

My guess is that their nails are so soft and flexible the Shellac doesn't have
the gripping power of gel polish.  What does everyone else think?

I have the cnd light and I have been using shellac since it first came out.
Mostly it stays on, but there are random people that it comes off of before two
weeks.  If they have soft. flimsy nails it seems to peep off.  I'm doing all of
the steps and have the right lamp so I don't know what the problem is with
these folks. One lady came in a week after, and four nails had peeled.  I do a
manicure first and get all of the cuticle off the nail then cleanse. I really
don't know what to tell them. Even if it last a week only, they still seem to
want to do it again.
