Actually Denise,
I’ve been getting a line thinner than a fine sharpie by using NOT
squeezing them and writing with next to nothing on the tip. I too have found
the
brush thick, but I give it a trim and it works for me the way I want it.
But I mostly use them for the pen part.
I have a seasoned liner brush that I dip in the bottle when I want to
stripe. I find them very nice.
Just goes to show you that two different people can find things two
different ways…

Subject: Re: NailTech:: Simmy/ Nubar Gel Art Pens/Question

im not simmy, but i have a bit of experience with these pens.

they only come in one size. the "pen" is not so much that, but a tiny
hole. the lacquer comes out of it in the size of a bit bigger than a fine
sharpie. the lacquer is on the thick side, so its a bit 3-d. they are a
bugger to keep clean and flowing freely.

as for the brush on the other side, its tooooooo big!!! ive tried cutting
them and thinning them, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. ive
thrown out quite a few!

hope this helps you :)

Simmy,

Can these art pens be used for super fine lines and details? I like to
use the smallest and next to smallest points when using the regular gel
pens. Do they only come in one size point?

Thank you so much!
