The reason I asked if the brush looked a little twisted... Live and Learn experience. A few years back, we got a shipment of bottles (we have them powder coated to prevent the light from getting to our UV Gel Sealer by Star) that wasn't quite powder coated enough. You couldn't tell looking into the box. Within a month or two we started getting calls that the brushes were twisting and getting stuck. A few more weeks into it and the calls became, the gel is hardening in the bottle.
What would happen is the gel would grab hold of the bristle, when the tech would start to unscrew the cover it would twist and eventually come out. At first it was pretty peculiar. The brush would come out no prob but it was goofy. Then as it would get stuck, twisted. Then the brush would break right off. We had to replace quite a few shipments and totally changed our powder coating company to a much better company. I can't say that is happening to Danny's product though. Remember to keep your bottles away ...not only from windows but your gel lamps too. Also, as Doug's reports have shown some over head tube lights cast UV Rays. LED's are much stronger too. They don't "fry" the product but they do cure pretty quick and strong. I've been testing an LED with my newest bottle formulation...and it cures so strong it cooks the shine right off my pretty nails. My UV testing doesn't do that. So it would make sense that having a bottle next to the LED would be a bit harsher than near the UV. Just suggestions. Kind Regards, Elaine T.
