Hi, Ruby! Doug Schoon's book has a great section explaining this- if you don't 
have his book yet, it is well worth the investment! 

It can be prep (not properly for your brand), mix ratio (too wet leaves too 
much 
liquid to evaporate, causing the acrylic to shrink up and pop up in the 
middle), 
or damage (such as the client keeps bonking the end of her nail and over time 
the acrylic separates from the nail because of the trauma). There are more 
reasons but it has been a long week and I can't think anymore... LOL... Hope I

Can someone tell me what causes air pockets?  I mean big air pockets.  Are some
