Thanks for the input, Kelley. I have my old Brisa lamp to cure my Shellac and I 
haven't noticed a problem. Maybe that's an indication the Eco lamp doesn't have 
the UV output to fully cure the Shellac. This is what I need to know.

Marsha,

If you are going to use shellac make sure you get a lamp with a fan,
Shellac is part polish and needs the fan for drying I have used my non
fan lamp with shellac but it really does make a difference with that
fan. If I could do it again I would have gotten a fan in the lamp
which I got with the eco soak off gel system.
