I don't have a fan in my light and Shellac (as well as the others) cure perfectly! I do have phillips bulbs. (4- 9 watt bulbs)

Marsha, If you are going to use shellac make sure you get a lamp with a fan, Shellac is part polish and needs the fan for drying I have used my non fan lamp with shellac but it really does make a difference with that fan. If I could do it again I would have gotten a fan in the lamp which I got with the eco soak off gel system.
