.....I enrolled in an Axxium class which I attended on Sunday. It's been a while since I went to such a thing...now, I remember why I stopped going. We sat for 3 hours listening to why OPI's products are so wonderful (this, on MY $30/dime). I learned that NAS99 is 99% alcohol and the other 1% was thymol but they discontinued it's use because it was causing problems, blah, blah, blah. I learned they have a new product which does both santizing and disinfecting of the pedicure spa foot tubs. No need to scrub! There were lots of other products I leaned about too, but the frosting on the cake was their $249.00, 2 - 9 watt bulb UV light. And it was necessary for them to design a special surface for the client to place their hand inorder for the light from those 2 bulbs to shine directly over the four nails. I was told the thumbs must be cured separately because, even with bulbs on the sides of the lamp, the nails won't cure evenly. REALLY?!! In all fairness, I did get good information about the product and how to apply it, but that took M-A-Y-B-E and hour! I so wish they'd leave the advertising on a table outside the door and get on with the education.
