Good Morning Everyone!

I'm just getting into the "gel color systems", and unfortunately didn't pay as
much attention to the past posts
as I wish I had. So, I apologize if these questions have already been
answered. My hope is that there are other
nail techs out there who will find repeats of the answers helpful.

I am currently 'playing around' with a little 9 watt, one bulb light. Is that
sufficient, or do I need more bulbs to
properly cure the gel? I'm having good results, but with a few chips here and
there. Eventually I'm planning on
investing in an LED light. I have seen some of the UV lights for $40 to $50ish
price range (mostly in the back of Nails
and Nail Pro mag.) I wonder if anyone uses these, and if they are compatible
with all systems. And does anyone
know if all the systems will dry under an LED light?

I caught something about Shellac needing a fan in the light to dry. Is that
accurate? I saw that one of the lights
has a fan on it. If anyone has this light, can you use it with just the UV
lights and not the fan on? Is it ok to use with
other gel systems, ei: Gelish?

I know this depends on the area, but how is everyone pricing this service? We
were thinking of pricing it as an add on
service, to go along with any of the other nail services we offer....is anyone
doing this?

Any other thoughts/comments/or help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!
