diana, It all started because I will be starting the hcg diet soon and you are
not supposed to use any kind of oil based products in makeup or body
lotions.Well my hands are in lotions all day I was trying to find something I
could use while on the diet but no luck .You are supposed to refrain fro any
oils in your food also. But anyway this is where the thread started. cheryl

Lynnette and Karen, you two are the skin care queens.  So I gotta
ask.  How in the hell does using an oil free lotion help you lose
weight??????????

I/m sorry, but I don't get it.  I'm from the old school, I don't care
what kind of diet you are on, it boils down to calorie in .. calorie
out.  There are so many different types of diets out there, and they
work.  Diets that have you eat different types of food, atkins,
weight watchers, Med, grapefruit blah blah blah. They are all based
on the calorie. But if you read the small print on all these diets it
says to eat until you fill full.  Calorie in..Calorie out.

So I don't understand this oil free diet......We know that oil based
lotion will hold moisture in.  So this is a cleansing diet and more
of your (energy, k-cal,excess,what ever they call it) comes out of
your body and the oil based lotions would prevent this??????????????
trying to understand.

Trying to understand why it would prevent you from losing weight as a
nail tech, using an oil based lotion, on your hands while you are
performing a service, would slow your weight loss down.

Trying to understand why it would prevent a client from losing weight
if the oil based lotion was applied to the feet and hands only, if
this would slow your weight loss down.
Just don't get it, and willing to understand.
thanks diana from indiana
