Not at all Becky - that was always my first concern.    I used it all last
winter with my Akzentz top gloss jar and it worked beautifully.  I would put
it on the warmer when I started my finish filing and by the time I was ready
for the top coat it was the perfect consistency.  So I just need to adjust
the time for the Shellac and it will be good to go!
