I don't know about the rest of you but the visual of pulling something from
under my leg, or between my legs and offering it up for a service is just
not happening with me.

I've been using a candle warmer very successfully with my other gels when
it's necessary so I'm pretty sure I know what I'm doing with the Shellac.
Thanks for the input.

Holly, thank you for addressing this, while at first I was thinking wow
great idea, the next thought was the heat might have ill effects.

Years ago my monomer was always cold in the winter and I often experienced
frosting. I kept only small amounts at my table in a 2 oz bottle. When we
sat down, I would put that bottle between my legs and it was always
perfectly warmed by the time I needed to use it. I am going to have to say I
grabbed that idea right here from this list back in my heavy lurking days!

So, I would think if your gel polishes are getting thick, try that first.
Don't forget some are gel/polish mixes, some are gel/pigment mixes, so I
doubt there will ever be a universal "thinner". Besides, my mind says if it
is thickening, it is not just like polish thickening, it is starting the
cure process which can not be reversed!
