The gel colors that have been around awhile aren't gel/polish hybrids. You can certainly tell the difference in the smell. All the new hybrids that have polish in them will still have some of the same problem polish has - like the thickening. You won't find that in the traditional gel colors.
I teach in classes for students to sit on the small jars to warm it up (Akzentz Builder French White is a bit thick, and sitting on it while you prep turns it into more of an elmers glue constancy and a dream to apply). Paraffin dip containers are good - on the lid obviously, not inside - and you can throw a towel on top to speed up the warming - but its not as hot as mug warmers and such so it doesn't risk overheating. -Jess On Nov 7, 8:16 am, Diana Bonn <[email protected]> wrote: > My table sits next to a window, I have my colored sog in a rolling > cabinet with black pull out drawers(no top to the drawers), to keep sun away > > Oh by the way, I HATE these gel companies that have ZERO concept how > to store our gel.
