I will not refund the money, period. No other business does. I will allow
re-gifting. They can give it to some one else if they want. I put an expiration
date on it, but I will honor it 20 years later if they still have it, however,
if they make an appointment, then no show or cancel less than 24 hours before
the appointment, they forfeit the full value of the GC.

I haven't had to use it often... but I WILL give money back if it comes down to
it... ONCE. My continued time to make a client happy who will never be happy
costs much more in the end than just returning their money, thanking them
kindly, and sending them off with a shrug. :) I generally take 2 tries to fix
it for free... after that, I start considering sending them elsewhere.... and
if has been under my 2 week guarantee window, that includes a refund....
(unless of course, they have been occupying open time that I didn't need for a
paying client anyway... LOL.... it's all about the bottom line....)

I have always had a policy: I will cheerfully repair, replace or remove any
product if the application is not acceptable. No money back.

I had a client like that. She insisted I refund every gel mani i did on her b/c
of "bubbling". She was always too far away for me to get a look and I didn't
dare risk my reputation so I just kept refunding her. Lo and behold, after her
wedding I nevers saw her again. I now think she was basically stealing services
from me to grow her nails out for her wedding and then to have nice nails on
the big day. I am as mad at myself as I am at her because I doubted myself and
let her steal from me.

Let go of your worry about this client, unless focusing on it gets your mind
off your real pain. You are terrific at what you do and a single dissatisfied
client can't ruin your reputation. We can't please everyone all of the time.

Hey everyone.... I am in a mood and not sure what I should do.
I will be brief :
Newer sog client. About four times. EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME she got them
done I got a phone call a day or so later.
* first time.. Lynnette, my ni chip got a chip. Called back later that
day, hubby tells me it happened as she took out her dentures. She never fessed
up to it.
*as I was curing her at another appointment, she put her one finger on another
while curing the top coat. I buffed that area, small mind you, to a high shine
because I did not have time to redo it.
She called the next day to say it was not shiny in the one spot. I told her
what she did, but come back for me to redo. She did the SAME DAMN THING, but
this time her finger stuck....cured...to each other.
Third time she calls to say she has bubbles on one thumb. When she came, I
swear you needed a MICROSCOPE to see two little things.
Comes in this week and says she cannot afford to keep this up. Brings in some
$#!t from QVC and wants my opinion on it. (some pink "gel"polish)
I did two coats of gelish base and we polished.
Yesterday she called to say the polish came off on a corner of one nail.
I have not called her back.

Buenos dias!
