Dear Listers,

As much as I hate the idea of leaving my beloved Florida Keys, I miss my
family so much! I am in Irving, Texas, at my brother's home and I love being
here! My sister and her husband were here this weekend, too, and I can't find
words to describe how wonderful it is to have them more actively in my
life....and so I'm doing something about it. I am moving to Texas!

And I need your help!  Any Texas gals here that could offer me any particulare
insight into Texas nail and skin care?  I think I read that autoclaves are now
required in salons...is that true? Anything else I need to know?

I am thinking of trying to find something in the Southlake area....or perhaps
Grapevine. I am not opposed to working in a spa for a change--the idea of less
responsibility appeals to me.

I am certainly going to pursue getting my Texas CE provider's license (or
instructor's license...whatever they call it) and teach drill certification
classes.

Anyone like the idea of moving to Key West??? I have a cute little house to
rent
you...and a clientele that is fabulous! You could walk right in and pick up
where I'm leaving off...!!! I'd be willing to leave a lot in place so that you
wouldn't have any down time...and my clients would certainly give anyone I
recommend a shot!

My target date is May 1st, so I'll be spending the next few weeks getting
through the Holidays, and then concentrating on clearing out jetsam and
flotsam.
(as my sis-in-law calls it!) Will keep you guys posted as I look at supplies
and
see if I can find them a new home!

Wish me luck! And send me advice!
