I was in michigan doing nails for the past 6 years. Texas does not have 
reprocity so I had to retake the manicurist exam and pratical. I also had to 
have a letter sent form the state of michigan that detailed my hours. Check 
texas's website  http://www.license.state.tx.us/   . Also in Texas you have to 
have a manicurist lic and a booth rental lic. If you send them an email they 
will get back to you within 24 hours.
