I have to agree with you Elaine. After all this controversy I warmed mine on my
mani lotion/cup warmer. It was ok that first time, but once it cooled and I did
it a second time it was worse. Thicker than before and didn't soften as well as
the first time. Goopy and couldn't get it up out of the bottle even after
mixing it. It wouldn't spread out across the nail surface.
Had to pitch it out and open a new one. Costly experiment! Stirrin and Shaken
will be my personal prefered method! Until there is a additive if there can be
one to restore it to usable consistency.
I have combined some low level Base cotes and Top cotes to their like kind
and been able to salvage some low level bottles and kept them as backup. I
always keep at least 3 NEW bottles of base and top in inventory. Just a safety
net.

FYI...warming bottles that have solvent, will only increase the rate the
solvents will evaporate. So in theory, you'll be warming them up and
getting a better consistency (for the time being) only to have them thicken
faster. I don't know what CND's recommendations are. And I would listen to
them first. But knowing the chemicals...I wouldn't be warming those
bottles.
