Subject: Re: NailTech:: Eco Application

wow THANK YOU everyone for replying and helping her so fast. I'm slow and a bit behind on my emails. Kay, all the advice you got is spot on. Sometimes, not stiring the gel enough will get you a shear application. Some colors are meant to be on the shear side. If you don't like them shear, then no worries, you are not stuck with them. YOU can actually mix our colors with each other and make new ones. So if something is on the shear side, go ahead and mix it with an opaque color and create something new and fabulous.

My dealer for Croatia was here yesterday and today. She gave me some of her favorite color combinations. One was Garden of Eden Red (blue red) and Carrot. It makes a true yellow red that I don't have in the line yet. It's a 50 / 50 mix.

So mix your colors, a third coat is definitely ok. I like to do super thin coats and throw a third coat with spot on application.

Hello all! This is my first time posting in this group, however I read
almost every post & have utilized a lot of useful information, so
thank you to everyone!

I am now seeking assistance myself - I have been a shellac user since
it came out last June. I want to explore other options though just for
the variety, so I requested some samples of the Eco soak off gel. I
LOVE the idea of it being in pots so product is not wasted & the
application process seems simple. However I don't seem to be getting
the correct coverage? I apply the base coat, cure for 10 seconds, then
2 thin coats of color, cure for 3 minutes each layer. My color seems
sheer though and I can't seem to get a good full coverage of opaque
color unless I apply it thicker.

What could I be doing wrong? Thanks for any tips or help you can
provide!
