Definatly I took the pratical twice here. the directions are very vague and no
one at TDLR knows anything about it, also the testing facility doesn't have a
phone number so you can't call for clarification. Santitize after every service
this is included in your service time.

OMG, I can't believe that Texas STILL requires cuticle trimming. MO quit
requiring that over 25 years ago. I heard that people used to smuggle pre
trimmed cuticle into the test. LOL, black market cuticle!

What a bummer, Karen, that you have to take a practical to get your license. As
if you don't know how to do nails, geez.

Joking aside, if the test says to soak, then soak, in a bowl. Do not substitute
anything. Do it exactly as they tell you to for the test, then do it the right
way when you start working. ;-O

I am reading the content for the Practical Exam I have to take...

one of the criteria:

"Nips cuticle of one nail and places trimming on cotton tissue"

Really? I have to cut off some cuticle and keep the trimming for
examination???? Yikes!!!

Also....anyone know if I will be penalized if I don't soak the fingers? Can I
get away with spraying with soapy water? Or should I just fake it and go ahead
and soak??? (will have to come up with a soaking bowl! lol)
