I use Shellac most, bought the eco soak off gels, and clients didn't like the wear of them. I use straight acetone with cotton balls wrapped with Tin Foil. It looks goofy but it's the quickest method I've found and takes about 5 minutes. It does sometimes leave the white spots, but a nice buff and they are gone. The CND wraps don't get wet enough or conform to the nail plate to fully cover the nail and you end up waiting longer and scrapping more. I've used the eco soak off as well, and it's nice, but it takes A LOT longer to pull up the gel polish. It does have a little oil in it, so you still need to make sure you have a clean/smooth nail plate before reapplying anyway. Hope that helps!

I was using acetone last summer and had white spots on my clients nails. With the eco soak I have had none of it and a quicker soak time. I also heat my mitts with rice pads. On my clients who have gel nails I do the same thing except when I am done applying the soak to the second hand I start removing it from the first hand , it has softened up and files off quickly and doesn't have alot of time to damage the gel enchancment. I have found when I just file off with a barrel bit clients hate the heat. So it is soft and removes quickly. On Apr 27, 2011 8:40 PM, "Pat.
