Rox,

With what she does all day she's going to have problems with a few fingers!
Lay a base of Gentle Gel down first then the GIA! No way she's going to be
able to handle straight gel polish!! One of my clients is a bank teller and I
have to do that for her! When I didn't her right hand was always a mess and
her left was perfect!!

Subject: NailTech:: The Problem Child

I'm sure you've all had one. Mine is a nitpicker. Which is fine, she challenges

me to be a better tech. Knowing this I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to her

services.

Anyhoo.... she currently has GIA Soak off gel on her nails. I am having great

success with this on quite a few of my clients so some of her problems with the

GIA are questionable (is it her or product). We have tried Shellac on her an

that is a NO GO way to flimsy and no support. What seems to hold up best is the

GIA.

She always makes a point of telling me how they didn't hold up at ALL and then

when I see her she might have two or three that she's chipped at the corner or

minor damage. Usually on the right hand thumb and first two fingers (she's a

financial director working on computers keyboards, texting and calculators.)

Last week I tried Something Wonderful on the right hand and Gentle Primer (from

Nailite) on the left. Friday she calls me and two lifted from the front and I

think she peeled them off the rest of the way. I replaced the left hand. She

contacted me today and said two have split. I don't know if that's left or
right

but for pete sakes! I could have been done with her last week she said she

wanted it all off but DANG it... her nails look GREAT with a nice clear or

neutral color coat on them. (but omg... she's a pain in the butt)

What I'm trying to figure out is... 1. is some of this damage coming from her?

She'll have maybe 2 or 3 with damage and the others look fabulous. I've

explained this isn't cast iron we're putting on 2. I'm thinking of switching
her

to Brisa trad. gel to give her strength because she's got some really thin

nails.

Any thoughts or similar situations you've experienced would be SO VERY MUCH

appreciated!

Thank you very much in advance...

Roxanne
