I am using my google calendar and calengoo. I have calengoo on my Ipad and
that syncs automatically every time I open it. I have my itouch in my purse at
all times and I use the google calendar on that...which also syncs
automatically and immediately also (well almost immediately :( )
It doesn't track anything but it does send out email reminders (well the client
is "invited to attend a ____. <back fill> on sat the 18th at 3:00) The
appointments are referred to as events... But like Rhonda said...it was 5
bucks... and it works great as a calendar.

I am probably the most type A when it comes to appointments. I still
use my old bible PDA. I have all appointments in my iTouch, iPad,
phone and, YIKES, the paper book. I will NEVER give up that paper
book. I know that will never crash! Electronics are great, but there
is nothing like the old standby.
Buenos noches,

probably also have to check the T&C website for that. Actually, I'm hoping
that
this can work because I do hope to get an iPad for my birthday....but I
digress.)

appointment calendar and pencil (yikes). I usually promptly input nail
appointments onto my iPhone, which "syncs" automatically with the Chaos Host
service. Usually at some point in the evening, when I am home, I will simply
press the F12 key while in Time and Chaos, and the Chaos Host service will sync
new/edited appointments back and forth between my computer and my iPhone. This
sounds a whole lot more complicated than it really is.

appointments on my practially-instant-on iPhone which can easily sync to my
computer.

figure out how to coordinate yet another calendar. I see a huge potential for
conflict with my personal one and the salon's old school method of booking, I
want to be comfortable that there won't be a major screw-up coordinating these
things!

on the computer. Someone had suggested Time and Chaos. I downloaded the trial
version and really liked it but it didn't work out when a client would call and
I would have to wait to turn on the computer and get into the program to make
the appt. To much waiting time. I have been thinking about getting an iPad or
some kind of tablet to do this with. It seems that the iPad comes on instantly
with a touch. Do any of you know of a good program that would work on an iPad
or
another form of a tablet that would keep my schedule and also keep client info
and color choices ect. I would also like to print out all their appt for the
next several months. One that would schedule standings every two, three, four,
five and six weeks. Thanks for any suggestions.
