Vicks vapor rub: apply a tiny bit of vicks to the top and underneath of the toenail daily. use very little because body heat can make it slimy. Listerine: yellow, original listerine, using an eye dropper, apply a drop underneath of the toenail daily. Sometimes these work, sometimes they don't. Just suggestions to try. Jackie

As we age the toenails change color and get harder. Family history plays a part as well (seen this with having clients related to each other). But also getting "older" clients to go to the podiatrist can be a nightmare when you live in a small town and the closest podiatrist is over 60 miles away, and you know there is no one to take them to the doctor. I have learned to be very diligent about cleaning after these clients. Suggest she try the home remedies: vicks or listerine, and see if that makes any change. Good Luck! I understand where you're coming from. Jackie -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "NailTech" group. To post to this group, send email to [email protected].
