Think of a Prescription Nail that is tinted a light pink, with a French
painted on the free edge. They are thinner than Prescription Nails as well.
Personally I am kind of liking them. They are still somewhat transparent
though, but you can apply a polish or gel polish over top if you wanted, to
be a bit more opaque.

Hi Angela,

I use Prescription nails alot. I have even converted some acrylic clients
to these. I tell clients that they last a week to 10 days to cover myself
because they are obviously not as strong as acrylic, but I do have clients
that get these every two weeks and do very well. It just depends on how
fast their nails grow out.

I also use the Dashing Diva virtual french nails. They are very popular
with my clients as well. I charge $25 for Prescription nails. If they want
gel polish or glitter and gel I charge and extra $7, for the virtual french
I charge $30. I use vaseline under the nails before application and I
hydrate with alcohol. I do use the glue that comes with it or I also use
the CND gel bond like Rhonda said.

For a new client it takes me about an hour to put a set on, longer if I use
gel polish over them. For repeat clients about 45 min because I have
already recorded what sizes they need and have them set out before they
arrive. A soak off and repply for a current client is around 1 hr and 45.

Good luck!

I ordered Prescription nails yesterday, could some of you share what you
charge for these, how long it takes and do you like the glue that comes with
the kit? The cheap places in my town charge about $20 to $25 for a set of
acrylic and they use mma and give lovely rings of fire. I am hoping that I
can get some of the girls that go to the school dances to get these instead.
Also how long do you tell them that they should last? Thanks for any help
you can give me.
