If you are expecting to add to your income by becoming a manufacturer
educator, I just want to let you know that it usually COSTS you money to be
one.  Yes, most compensate you for your time and travel expenses, however,
you are not comensated for your down time, travel time (like having to fly
in the day before and fly home the day after an event) and the time that you
are not able to be in the salon.  Most educators do it because they love to
share the knowledge and get a little travel time in and see some places, and
of course the great networking with the other educators.  Just some food for
thought.......
