The fee is 2.75% of the transaction amount. It amounts to 27.5 cents fee on each $10 charged. I think you got these two things confused. You pay nothing until you swipe something and you pay 2.75% on amount swiped or 3.75% on anthing hand keys (when you sell a gift certificate over the phone)
