Most likely it's air bubbles. Not enough glue. I really load the full coverage 
tip with glue, hold it cuticle edge down and slide it up to the cuticle, then 
rock it down onto the nail and squish all the extra glue out under the free 
edge. Don't press too hard, hold firmly for 20 seconds, turn the hand over and 
remove the extra glue with a manicuring stick. With practice you will figure 
out how much glue you need and waste less. At first be generous with the glue, 
it's better to use too much than not enough, IMO. By the time you've done the 
remaining 7 you will be a pro at it.  Take your time and focus on one nail at a 
time.
