Hi Kim, Email or message to clients: Dear ... Thankyou so much for your support and patronage to the salon. As your devoted Nail Tech I want to give you the best service and products and always endeavor to keep my prices as fair as possible. Over the past months however I have had many increases in product and business costs and therefore I now need to have a price increase on my services too. The prices will increase by (add %) across the board as of 1st January 2012. I have attached the new price list for your information. I hope you will understand that this is necessary for me to do to keep my business running effectively and professionally so that you, the valued client, will benefit. Kind regards....... (attach new pricelist to the email or letter) AND then what I would do is to post up the new price list in the salon with the start date so that people get used to what they are going to need to pay after 1st Jan. You will always have some people whingeing about price rises but on the whole your clients will respect the fact you have taken a while to do it and also you are giving them notice Good luck!
