I just bought a comfy chair for my new pedicure station. Now I have to think about how to design the rest of it. I'm thinking of the ergonomics of where the clients feet are in relation to me when I'm doing the callous work, and then I need to consider where the uv light goes when I'm doing the shellac treatments. The pedi stations I see online don't really include a spot for the uv light.
I am thinking of building a platform with a step up. I only do dry pedicures, although it's probably a good idea to have room for a foot bath (just in case). So I need to figure out how high the platform should be, and maybe consider a foot rest of some kind. Perhaps building in some storage space to keep heated towels, product etc. Any advice, pics or thoughts would be much appreciated.
