Hi Holly, I've always thought that if I had to re-build the pedicure station, I would make at least one step up, maybe 2 and hide a drawer in each of the steps. After the client is seated, the drawers would be able to be pulled out and have implements, towels, warmers, the foot bath, the gel lamp, etc. Thats a lot of stuff, maybe I need 3 steps up! Anyway, it would be out of sight, uncluttered, and neat at all times! :-) Pam Nail Designs Ohio

Now I have to think bout how to design the rest of it. I'm thinking of the ergonomics of where the lients feet are in relation to me when I'm doing the callous work, and then I eed to consider where the uv light goes when I'm doing the shellac treatments. he pedi stations I see online don't really include a spot for the uv light. I am thinking of building a platform with a step up. I only do dry pedicures, lthough it's probably a good idea to have room for a foot bath (just in case). o I need to figure out how high the platform should be, and maybe consider a oot rest of some kind. Perhaps building in some storage space to keep heated owels, product etc. Any advice, pics or thoughts would be much appreciated.
