Angie.. yes I handled one exactly like that.. she also was my biggest
problem child.. she did better on gels, but I stunk at gels back then
:) Not that much better now especially since I really dont do nails
except my own now!
KC's nails were also very thin, but some of that was damage from all
the lifting and the fact she was a picker and addicted to Krazy Glue
no matter what I said.. I found that tipping as opposed to sculpting
did better on some of her nails.. If the sculpt actually
wraps/encases under the little bit of free edge, she will be fine --
if shes not a picker.. I think maybe thats why KC did better on tips
because she picked at that little bit of acrylic underneath!

I have a client that has ski slope nails and they are very thin. She
comes in every two weeks but her nails are lifting terribly. Would
it be better to cut off her natural nail and sculpt when the overlay
comes off? Any suggestions would be great. I am about to tell her
she needs to take a break and wearing nails long term just isn't for
her. She really loves them and is a wonderful client.
