The real answer is "Which do you like better?" Some people prefer acrylic over gel, however in my experience, 9 out of 10 clients, when given the choice with a nail tech that is skilled in both products will choose gel over acrylic.
Neither gel nor acrylic is "better for your nails", it is all up the the individual. If they really cannot choose. Do one hand with acrylic and one hand with gel. Then schedule their appointment for three weeks. Remove the one they don't like. You will have a client forever.
