This is a really easy way to get a little added strength for those natural clients who need it.

Initially you can do 2-4 base layers, all VERY thin, cure each for 30 seconds, 2 full minutes on the last layer, cleanse, then polish.

If you are polishing over, there is no need to soak or file off. Regular polish remover to remove the polish, then light file the existing base layers, as evenly as possible. Fill the growth area with base, cure 30 seconds, a 2nd thin base, cure 2 minutes, cleanse, polish.

Hi Diana,

I was going to send this to you privately, but thought others on the list may have the same questions.

I am one of the dinosaur nail techs, and I'm just working my way into most of the modern day nail services. Most of my clientele is acrylic, but I have added the gel polish to my list of services over the past year.

I am intrigued with the idea of a soft gel manicure. Can you apply this Mani Q gel over the natural nails, and then use regular polish, or is it only a base for gel colors? Am I understanding that it can be removed by soaking, but also can be left on and just filled? and what is the Charisma you mentioned....I would love to be able to make my own Gel colors out of the polish colors...I think that's the hardest part of selling the gel manicure (that people have their favorite colors in the traditional polish lines)....or did I misunderstand that, and you're just creating your own colors?

And can you use an LED light with the Mani Q gel, or just a UV?

Sorry if all this is redundant....

But thanks for helping get this dinosaur out of the dark ages!!!
