In the last two months I have been finding that the Brisa is not always bonding around the sidewalls. It isn't all clients, but it's enough of them that I think I have to change something. I have adjusted application so that I'm applying a thinner layer, and kind of scrubbing it in on the first coat. Before I cure that I am usually pillowing more gel into the stress area and drawing it out toward the sidewalls. I am still seeing this problem though. Overall, this winter I have seen that more clients are having lifting problems, and in fact a few have decided to stop wearing their nails because of it.
Also, I got hold of some Brisa Lite (which isn't easy to do in Canada) and am testing it on a few clients…..none of them have been back yet, so I don't know how it's performing at this stage. Is anyone soaking off the smoothing gel (I think I read it takes 30min) or just filing it off. I would definitely like to hear how other techs are finding it.
