How long have you had the gel? Any chance it is past shelf life? 1 year open, 2
years un-open
I find when I have regular Brisa issues it is either a lamp or an age issue
when PREP has been ruled out.

my lifting issues have been with regular brisa…..sidewalls, and they are
evident when I am sealing them with top coat…..just not bonding right around
the sidewall.
I haven't had any of the brisa lite clients come back yet……I will want to know
how this develops though.

Fantastic! I like the color of the pink sculpting gel. So far, so good, I love
it. I am already signed up for the Brisa Lite Sculpting class next Monday.
Thanks to Holly, the class got scheduled pretty fast, YAY!Thank you

I too have been having some issues with the brisa lite smoothing gel system, so
much so that I have discontinued the use of it....I have tried many techniques
from very very thin application to double curing and nothing seems to be
working....it peels off in full and last less then a week on most of my
clients...I have prepared the nail plate with many different techniques and
nothing seems to be working.

In the last two months I have been finding that the Brisa is not always bonding
around the sidewalls. It isn't all clients, but it's enough of them that I
think I have to change something. I have adjusted application so that I'm
applying a thinner layer, and kind of scrubbing it in on the first coat.
Before
I cure that I am usually pillowing more gel into the stress area and drawing it
out toward the sidewalls. I am still seeing this problem though. Overall,
this
winter I have seen that more clients are having lifting problems, and in fact a
few have decided to stop wearing their nails because of it.

Also, I got hold of some Brisa Lite (which isn't easy to do in Canada) and am
testing it on a few clients…..none of them have been back yet, so I don't know
how it's performing at this stage. Is anyone soaking off the smoothing gel (I
think I read it takes 30min) or just filing it off. I would definitely like to
hear how other techs are finding it.
