How long have you had the gel? Any chance it is past shelf life? 1 year open, 2 years un-open I find when I have regular Brisa issues it is either a lamp or an age issue when PREP has been ruled out.

I haven't had any of the brisa lite clients come back yet……I will want to know how this develops though. Easy to sculpt with, I used the sculpting kit for a full set of tips with overlay, easy to shape/file and no lifting. Fantastic! I like the color of the pink sculpting gel. So far, so good, I love it. I am already signed up for the Brisa Lite Sculpting class next Monday. Thanks to Holly, the class got scheduled pretty fast, YAY!Thank you Holly!KatherineSt. Louis, MO Sent from Windows Mail From: Holly L Schippers Sent: March 16, 2013 11:55 PM To: BeautyTech E-List Subject: RE: NailTech:: brisa and brisa lite I'm doing some info gathering, have sent you both an off list email. It isn't all clients, but it's enough of them that I think I have to change something. I have adjusted application so that I'm applying a thinner layer, and kind of scrubbing it in on the first coat. Before I cure that I am usually pillowing more gel into the stress area and drawing it out toward the sidewalls. I am still seeing this problem though. Overall, this winter I have seen that more clients are having lifting problems, and in fact a few have decided to stop wearing their nails because of it. Also, I got hold of some Brisa Lite (which isn't easy to do in Canada) and am testing it on a few clients…..none of them have been back yet, so I don't know how it's performing at this stage. Is anyone soaking off the smoothing gel (I think I read it takes 30min) or just filing it off. I would definitely like to hear how other techs are finding it.
