All great advice given so far. It sounds to me like she just wanted you to fulfill the Groupon deals. Now that they're over she doesn't need you. Regardless of what she wants to 'talk' about tomorrow, you should consider this as your exit interview, and move on. You are much better than this place!!

I just don't want to bad mouth me the way they did the tech before me. Ill know in the morning for sure though. Who knows really considering their standard practices of massage girls giving mani pedis and her not cleaning her makeup brushes ever. The issues go on and on too many bad practices to state and she has girls training under to get their licenses Sent from my Samsung InterceptT [email protected] wrote: >It may well be the "We don't need you" conversation, but you don't need them. From what I've read there is absolutely no way that you could possibly benefit from staying there. Its so stressfull to wonder why it was great at first and then 2 wks in(and after their groupons were done) I don't get asked to work anymore. I'm now looking into booth rent and one of my old school mates opened a Knockouts Salon so maybe there to. Maybe that's the point of the call maybe she justs wants to talk but I think it'll be like "we really don't need u" or "we just don't like you". But either way I know I'm not a terrible nail tech. >> >> Thanks again >> >> Mitchele u can check my work on my facebook page I'm the only Mitchele Hunt on facebook LOL >> >> Sent from my Samsung InterceptT >> >> [email protected] wrote: >> >>> >>> The "we need to talk" speech is a way for YOU to express what YOUR needs and requirements are to work there also! Don't let it be a one sided conversation. Write down some topics that YOU want to talk about, like the list of unbelieveable goings on that you described to us a few days ago. Unreal! You would be LUCKY to be fired from this stupid job! Maybe you could get unemployment until you find something else, but find something else you must! You are better than this salon, trust me! RUN MITCHELE RUN! :-) I don't believe there is any hope that you can work out a way to work at this place. >>> Be super prepared for your next job interview. Its too late for this place! An interview is a way for them to find out if they think that you will fill the position that they are offering, and also a way for you to find out if the salon is going to fit what will work for you. Please make a list of requirements that you think are necessary to work and use the interview to see if their position is really what you're looking for. Stuff such as rent vs. commission, who buys supplies, pay rate, rent, salon hours, services offered, price scale, days off, vacation, benefits, etc. If you have a list of what your requirements are, it makes it easier to say, "Oh, I don't think this will work for me then, because I will need at least 5 days a week or 8 hours a day" or whatever it is that YOU are going to need to work to pay the bills and make a living at this. >>> I've been doing nails for 30 years now, full time, and had 2 salons that I had to get the heck out of (after 8 years or so at each one!) and I've been at the most wonderful day spa with the most wonderful co-workers/friends now for the past 15 years! The bad salons were really, really bad, and I hated getting up each and every day to go there. I love my job and where I work now! Change is worth it! >>> Feel free to e-mail me if you need another pep talk! lol! >>> Pam >>> Nail Designs >>> Ohio >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> -----Original Message----- >>> From: Mitchele Hunt <[email protected]> >>> To: nailtech <[email protected]> >>> Sent: Mon, Mar 25, 2013 10:08 pm >>> Subject: NailTech:: Need advice/rant >>> >>> >>> So she just texted me saying I need to call her after 10am cause we need to talk. This is so stressful and upsetting. All I can think is she is going to fire me. Maybe she justs want to talk hrs but all I can think is I'm fired. I know I did nothing wrong other than telling her pedi client to see someone about his toes(they were thick crumbly and yellow).
